Which lenses would be best for indoor or low light equestrian events? I.e dressage jumping etc,
I have at present a canon 450d
I'm buying a canon mk 2 f/2.8 as well, where's best place to buy? And would it be ok with my 450d?

Anything with a fast aperture, the 70-200 f2.8 would probably be ideal, if you can get close enough an 85mm f1.8 would be good as well.

The Canon 70-200 f2.8 IS mk2 would be good lens, but why not hire various lenses from someone such as

What are better camera bodies for equine low light but fast lens,
I don't want no blurring when movement is fast in low light

You will need a camera capable of high ISO operation, with financial cost excluded, you would ideally buy a Canon 1Dx, slightly cheaper, a 5Dmk3 or 1Dmk4, or at prosumer level a 7D.

As a straight upgrade you could consider a 650D. Each step down will drop high ISO ability (except perhaps 7D -650D).
