Lenspen SensorKlear

Hi

Has anybody had any experience of using one of the Lenspen SensorKlear tools, I know that the normal lenspen is a great tool for cleaning lenses and I wondered if anyone had used one of these on their sensors, I have a stubborn mark to get of mine that isnt responding to a blower.

It is worth a try. I have shifted some stubborn dust with SensorKlear.

It is not a complete solution either. It struggles to get into the very corners, and it can leave some very fine dust itself.

So coupled with a blower it could be good, I was just wondering due to them being very cheap compared to other sensor cleaning products.

I've used them on 40d's , 7d's and 5d mk II. Give the sensor a god blow off with a rocket blower then a steady clean with the sensor klear with the same pressure as you would write with an ink pen. I have found it does a really good job for general cleaning, not sure what it would be like for greasy contamination though.

I've got one, it can get rid of dust when used with a rocket blower but it took me more than one attempt. It was quite frustrating as it seemed to move the dust around most of the time instead of removing it.

Just to add i find giving the end of the sensor klear a good twist inside the lid refreshes it and allows it to grab dust better if it fails to get shot the first time around.
