I'm no bird tog by any measure, but this little bugger was making such a racket at a cricket match I just had to get a shot of him.

Chaps, Superficially like a Lesser - sorry but it is clearly a JUV (juvenile) Great Spotted Woodpecker. They too have the red crown not present in the adults. The clincher is the size of the bill, way too hefty for a Lesser Pecker also no streaks on the breast. So Great Spot it is!
