God i am so wound up now ... Repair team send a letter saying we have pleasure in returning your camera ..Yesterday... Jessops chester say they don't have it .. I phone the repair team and they say yes jessops chester had it back on friday ... Repaired ...

My wife goes to chester today to pick it up .. and it's there ... NOT REPAIRED ...... :bang:
 
What a royal pain in the arse. Hope you get it back soon... repaired. =)
 
Oh snap! I'm currently in the middle of getting a lens repaired by Nikon Poland. Been in repair since Friday.
 
Give 'em hell...! There's no excuse for complete lack of competence!

I'd ring repair team to see what has been done to see what they say... I wouldn't tell them it's in the exact same condition as when they received it straight away... would be interesting to see what they claim to have done... then you can give them 'down the banks'

just finished on the phone to the head of customer care ... The woman dealing with it in the first place , said she had changed jobs and had forgotten to hand in on .AND THAT SHE HADN'T DONE HERE JOB VERY WELL

.. Just spoke to Alan W**** , i Asked can i talk to the manager ... "I am the team leader "... i said no the manager ... he said i am the team leader we don't have manager ..

He said how can you prove the camera has only had 6000 actions ... i said through the count on the camera . I don't know much about cameras he said .. 6000 seems quite alot ..

I said so would you expect as a wedding photographer it reasonable if that £1300 camera last 4/5 weddings ... His reply was i don't know really ... But the repair team won't pay for the repair .. I said can't you as customer care manager authorize it to be repaired ... No he said ...

the bill is reduced to £215 at the moment .. Now writing to THE CEO ...
