Started seeing this strange white bird in our garden yesterday.
These shots of him were through glass on highish iso and low shutter speeds with the 1.4 Kenko TC on....

Yep albino alright. There's an albino blackbird in a spot that I know of - last saw him in July this year. Never seem to have the camera with me when he shows and vice-versa!
 
I'll go with the :nono: Albino
:nono: mesh left on the fat balls.
 
It's a leucistic goldfinch, an albino would have pink eyes. I like #2 and #3.

I've seen a completely leucistic blackbird - very weird, yellow bill but all the feathers were white.

I photographed a leucistic juvenile Great Spotted Woodpecker many years ago. The red under-tail coverts and cap were normal but the rest of the bird was white and light brown.
 
Yes - that's the word I couldn't remember ;-) so albino had to do.
 
Must be quite a rare thing, well spotted. True albinos as mentioned before have pink eyes and no colouration. (y)
