Hi everyone,

Wondering if anyone knows of an alternative leveling base for the Gitzo Systematic tripods??. I am not interested in the original Gitzo leveling base, but i would like one that sits in a 75mm. half bowl/video adapter (it sits lower on the tripod). Does anyone know if the Sirui system will fit the Gitzo??. Any other possible solutions ??. I'm not very happy with the lever on the Gitzo. And i'm not very happy with the prize :) .
But i will be happy to hear from anyone that can help out!!

Sounds like you already have the 75mm half bowl.

You’ve said you don’t like the Gitzo price but I have one for sale on here at a competitive price.

Benefit of the Gitzo is that it is rock solid when tightened.

Thanks for your offer, but i have decided to look elswhere. Not happy with the lever. I think i will go with the Manfrotto-thing... ;-)
