LG Cookie picture messages

Hopefully this is the right section

I'm having issues recieving picture messages on my lg cookie, not sure why as I can send them fine. I'm not even recieving a notification of media message which I used to get on an old non compatible phone, since that one I have had a Sony erricson k500i which I could send/recieve with no issues. I have visited o2 who sent out all the settings to my sim and I have re-sent them again myself but still no joy

Ideas anyone?

I can't send/receive picture messages with mine but that's an intentional issue with my works' provider. I've not tried on my own network.
