I am hoping to do a bit of Motocross photography and asked the local track. They are fine with taking photos but said if I had any liability insurance I could shoot inside the fences. As an amateur it isn't something I had considered but I really fancy taking motocross pics quite often and it may be worth it. A quick google of quotes makes it obvious that the insurance is designed for professionals. Does anyone have any sources for reasonable cover as an amateur
 
Don't think it makes any difference if you are a professional photographer or not , the risk of being hit is the same.
