Lighter kit

If it's the same as the issue with Panasonic the fix is to redesign the shutter.

If electronic shutter is available that'll fix it but leave you prone to rolling shutter and banding under flickering lights.

I’m going to Spain for a month next January and although I have a great OM1 Mkii and a few lenses for it, I would rather take a lighter, smaller camera with just on or maybe two lenses to more easily carry around. I need to use a power chair for longer walk about.

My online research has thrown up a few candidates but there is no substitute for real life experience so thought I would ask this forum for recommendations. My budget would be around £1,500. I would be looking to take general travel shots, not so much landscape or portraiture, however.

Any suggestions, very gratefully received.
+1 for Ricoh GR for top quality IQ fixed focal length in your pocket. Possibly the Sony RX100 for slightly less IQ but zoom.

Thought this had been addressed by firmware?

Frankly I have no idea. The camera and lens were bought quite some time back and are only used occasionally on holiday. The effect also seems lens-specific, so no problem with the 14-42 pancake but without EFCS the 40-150 is nearly unusable on the E-M10 MK1.
