Lighting for Sony A300

Hi,

I am looking for a studio flash setup for mobile use with my Sony Alpha 3000.

What do I need and what would you recommend? I would like to keep the price as low as possible.

Yea! thanks, I was looking at around £250 maximum £300.

I think that your camera has a non-standard (Sony only fitting) hotshoe - if I'm right you'll need an adapter, which you can usually get fairly cheaply via Ebay.
Without it, nothing except Sony products will fit the hotshoe.

That looks like what you need. I used something similar before I got my A700.

just get a nice sony hvl f42am and an off camera flash cable, this could be had for around £200.
