The first consideration is why I'm buying the light in the first place... that will dictate the minimum/primary requirement (e.g. power/portability). After that it's primarily cost effectiveness and compatibility...

Color accuracy isn't typically a prime consideration, especially just based on a stated CRI rating; critical color accuracy is a lot more involved... I just want to know that it's not particularly poor.
I care more about color consistency when mixed with other strobes as a general characteristic... that's why you probably don't want to buy a high power strobe to mix in with other low power stuff.

These days, as long as you stay away from the really cheap junk you're probably fine... I personally would rather buy two at a lower price if failure is a primary concern (e.g. 2-AD600 vs 1-B1).
