The interface is better and there are a few tweaks but the biggest selling point for me is tethered shooting.

Theres an article on LR3 in the Septemer issue of Practical Photographer... its also the start of the Editing Skills Course for those interested!

There is a direct comparison of the Noise Reduction in LR2 and LR3 too.

Just got LR 3 Today after using LR 2 and .......Wow quite a few differences , the custom watermark is a great feature and the noise reduction is great as I shoot ALOT of photos above iso 1600

Andy, if you are a student, a teacher/lecturer or have primary/secondary children you can get an education license for 65-70 pounds (sorry lost the sign). Have a look at Adobes website. I got one for my son and had to send a photocopy of school report and passport photo.

i have a family member whos a teacher, any good do you think?

They would get a licence and it would work but it would be a breach of the licensing agreement. Unless it is a family member in the immediate family who lives with you. They said if we qualify then there is nothing to stop other people in the family using it. It is what we use having a qualified teacher and three students.

Check out Adobes terms and conditions, cant remember what they said about validating teachers claims. Mine was not complicated once I got hold of a real person at Adobe customer services.
