Lightroom changes video metadata - ***NOT*** SOLVED

Hey folks
I imported a load of family videos off my Canon camcorder and LR changed their creation date and time to what it was at time of import. I then tried copying and pasting through explorer and then synchronising the album in LR to only get the same issue. After a Google I see this has been an issue for some years but I cannot see a fix, which is bad on Adobe's part. Has anyone got any ideas please? I'm using WIndows 10 and an updated LR

I think I've sorted it. I made it so LR doesn't change any metadata
First go to Edit > catalogue Settings > Metadata, and un-tick all the boxes.
Then on import under the 'Apply During Import' tab make sure 'Develop Settings' and 'Metadata' are unselected

I've tried with one video so will now import the rest.

So it's doing it again. I haven't changed anything either.

Annoying AF and happens on stills too.
