Hello there everyone,

Just a small problem today :) I downloaded LRG One for Lightroom so that I can use galleries on my website with PayPal functions.

The problem I am faced with is it doesn't want to upload to my server :(
I tried using Upload itself on Lightroom, tried FileZilla and also the uploading on the server itself.

It just doesn't seem to want to upload. At the moment my internet is quite slow (probably peak times) and I dont know whether that is the problem but I just want to be able to get it uploaded asap. So I was wondering if there is a way I can get it on my server, or a programme I can use that will make this easier?

Hope you can help
Many Thanks
Jamie Palmer

I find Filezilla great but Lr should be able to do it easily too. If using Filezilla it should just be a case of drag and drop.

When I use FileZilla most of the files transfer, but the large images even though scaled down to 600x400 still go into the failed transfers, as the connection times out.

And on Lightroom it's similar it says something like connection to the server has been timed out I think.

Hope that helps
Jamie

Sounds like you have run out of space on your server? Check the usage with your provider.

Right guys I think I've solved the problem with FileZilla but not with Lightroom yet.

My server is unlimited bandwidth and unlimited space. So it's definately not that.

On Filezilla I had to set the default time out from 20 seconds to 0 which is never.

So now the file continually uploads without timing out. But this doesn't solve the same problem on Lightroom, but that's not a problem if it works on FileZilla as I'll just export everything and upload that way.

Thanks
Jamie

It responded, just the connection time out means that if the whole file is not sent within that timeframe it cuts it off, so now it's set to disable and I have just uploaded it to my server now with no problems :D

the only timeout option in filezilla is one saying if no data is sent or received within the set time the connection drops and it retrys..? either way its worth a shout to your hosting co, thats a bit odd if you ask me..
