Lightroom search function not working since last update

If i wanted to do a bulk delete i used to search part of the file name but the search function is no longer working since the last update, is it just me or does this affect you lot before i go round in circles.
I use Lr not LRC

I'm not sure there are many Lr only users here, and I can't help because I have never used the cloud version.

I use LRC but also have LR. I tested the search function on the latter yesterday and it was fine.

How strange, just checked and it's working now it's been out for ages

Mine is really hit and miss. Some days it offers really accurate results, others it doesn't load at all. Each time I wish I had managed my library better with tags and titles.
