When you put your photos on flickr from Lightrrom what sharpening do you do?
I used to edit in LR, send to PS to sharpen, then crop and save as jpeg. This results in a RAW, large TIFF and small jpeg.
I have just been thinking it might be easier just to use the new export to flickr thing in LR. The only problem is you can only do overall sharpening in LR. When you export what is the best level of export sharpening to add? I'm not sure if Standard or High is best.

None, other than that I've done for the individual edit on that image. I don't add sharpening on export. The sharpening function in LR's menu system (the sliders etc) is excellent I think, so why not use it :)

This is a very good flickr uploader - Jeffrey's Flickr Uploadr. Been using it on LR2 and it's really handy.

Using LR2:

Export it, using the export function, resizing in the process. Set it to open in PS once exported. Add the watermark and any addition info to the EXIF (copyright and the like) in PS then save and upload to Flickr. I know you can do the watermark & EXIF stuff in LR, I just prefer doing it in PS :D

Any other work I want to do in PS is done before the final export. I do have it set to sharpen for screen on exporting from LR though.

I am using LR3 so is that uploader basically the same as the one in LR3?

Not used LR3 yet but JFU has resizes for flickr plus allows you to add directly to sets and groups, plus add tags and other data important to flickr. It only does one at a time, but it's quick nonetheless

I use the export/publish plug in for LR3 which is superb. It actually synchronises your Flickr gallery for you I do the sharpening in LR3 as well - haven't used Photoshop for ages.
