Lightroom web gallery

is driving me mad. Im trying to upload about 20 photos to my web domain hosted by 5quidhost and it get to about 61% and stops.

This web business is pretty tricky to say the least!!
 
Can you export and use a FTP client? Much better way of doing things...

An FTP Client will serve you much better. First off, if you try a mass upload, and it fails, you can simply do it in smaller chunks (but you'll probably find it more reliable anyway). Also, the likes of Lightroom, and website builders in general, end up leaving your server in a bit of a mess, like when you decide to delete things, but they aren't actually deleted. An FTP Client allows you to see exactly what's up on your server.

There's plenty of other reasons too :)

I use CyberDuck, but it may be Mac only. But there's plenty of other decent ones :thumbs:
 
Or if you use Firefox, nothing could be easier than FireFTP :)
 
thanks all,

have downloaded filezilla,

So far i have done the following
exported the web gallery to a folder on hard drive called web
opened file zilla
found the web gallery folders in filezilla
highlighted them and dragged them to the servers public_HTML folder
Upload was successfull

however, when i go to www.gregorycoltman.co.uk it seems to find the ste but the page is just white. No gallry comes up.

any ideas

Maybe a daft question but do you have an index.html or index.htm in your public_HTML folder:thinking: Just tried it and the site is coming up fine for me so forget the previous sentence.

The gallery is up, now i just need to do a simple homepage in the same style as an intro.
