Hi All
Looking for a slim bag that'll take a 6d plus kit lens, a spare lens and a couple of extras but no more.
Aim is for something I can sling on my back and not get squished walking through crowds at gigs. Currently have a lowepro sling and it's *OK* but looking for alternatives. Low profile kind of essential...

Hi Ric. Does it have to be a shoulder bag? I use a Lowepro Reporter and find that it's more out of the way being around my hip and I can push it round to behind my back if I'm going through a tight squeeze etc. I've got the 200 version and have fitted a selection of medium format film kit along with my NEX kit and bits.

Check out Think Tank bags... They'll be at the show if you are going at Snapperstuff. I have a bag pack, waist bag and small shoulder bag. I use the back pack for long haul... Might be too small for a big guy though... Anyway, love their bags, very well thought out.

Gone with a cheap one as a test:

Cheap enough to be semi-disposable and should fit my 6D, 24-105, a 50mm, a flash and a trigger which will do me for gigs and shouldn't annoy people much when I'm pushing my way to the front!

Measured up and I've already got a Reporter-sized bag as well as my usual workhorse backpack.

Incidentally, if anyone likes Billingham bags there's a cheap clone here that looks very similar to the genuine one I had in the mid 90s.

It probably doesn't have the layer of rubber between the canvas like the real thing but might be of interest to any Billingham fans...

What a great site that is, just spent ages browsing:)

Aw man, sorry. You'll get lost in there! They have a uk warehouse as well so you can limit browsing to stuff that won't take a month to come from China. I came across it for quadcopter bits but there are ALL sorts of cool things on there for cheap, and free shipping!

Well I've spent all afternoon and half the evening looking around, I've ordered a bag like yours, been after a non backpack type bag for a while;) oh and a whole load of nail polish
