Off to visit the bro-in-law in Dubai again in May and I would like to make the most of the opportunity to take some night photos of stuff like the Burj Al Arab in the various different colours it lights up in.
Having tried the first time we went without a tripod, and my old Kodak bridge camera, I think I will be needing a tripod this time and as mine seems to weigh about 5 kilos, I thought I should look for a more travel friendly tripod. I looked at a couple of carbon ones recently, but just can't stretch to the £200+ I would need to get one.
Of course if anybody in the Leicester area wants to lend me one for 5 days at the beginning of May......
Otherwise I'd be looking for budget friendly lightweight tripod solutions.
