Me too. Like the white contrast, might have tried to move a little sideways to offset the steps, but then you might have fallen off.........:)
 
Potentially a good image but I always think that these kind of shots work best if you spend a bit of time getting the geometry correct. It looks to me as if the stairs are not central and its all rotated a bit clockwise. I also thing the large sections of concrete on the right detract and unbalance the image. Perhaps a few tweaks and a square crop could be used to remove the concrete.

When you are composing consider the bits of the scene that have caught your eye and you are trying to bring out and then change you position and crop to maximise those points of interest. Possibly a lower position would have allowed you to use the stone walls to hide a lot of the concrete on the left. These are just my thoughts though.
