decided to have a go at shooting this lilly last night, i thought it went quite well. C & C most welcome especially on the lighting.

 
This to me is a great looking shot, love the colour, i am no expert but i think the lighting is right around the flower but too dark around the stalk and base, as becuase of the length of the picture your eyes are drawn to the bottom but the content is too dark to seem, mavbe a crop would be good?
As i say i am no expert so this is just my take on it.
 
Good shot and lighting but I'd personally prefer not to include the vase, hide/mask closed flower bud to the left of the opened flower (it is distracting imo) and have the flower itself positioned slightly lower from the top edge of the frame.
