I agree the composition is spot on and the bokeh is excellent but the fundimental thing is the focus is out. It seems to be on the upper part of the legs nearest the camera and not on the head and eyes, which make a potentially great pic somewhat less than that. I know getting the focus spot on in Macro is a real effin' bitch but keep at it

I agree that the focus could have been a tad further back, but the eye is in focus when viewed at 100%.

Just looked at it there mate. It's slightly better but still not spot on. As I said it is difficult to nail it because you are working in millimetres.

Great capture, great DOF. Do these come in different colours. Saw the spitting image of this but in black in the garden the other day. Gone by the time I'd got the cam tho'. Little buggers.
