Limitations of bracketing stops with Canon

As the title says I wonder if anyone can share how you get around the limitations that at least the Canon 5D MKII that I know has when bracketing.
I have been researching a little about this and it seems there are ways to get around this but wonder how you do it in the easiest possible ways.

Ideally I would like to bracket for at least 5 exposures but the 5D MKII only allows 3, so any tips and suggestions are welcome please?

You mean you manually input the different shutter speeds? Isn't that a long way around it? I was hoping someone would come up with some tips on using the AUTO mode and what method they apply.
 
Its not really that much of a long way around it... You could always just bracket twice and delete the duplicate exposure...?
 
Check but Magic Lantern may do that.

Edit - Yep, up to nine exposures - here.

Not that long. Meter for the correct exposure. Drop into manual on those values then it's just a matter of rotating the main dial to change the exposure.

I have it on my 60D and its excellent and very stable
