Great shots mate, looks like a top day out!!

Dave

thanks Dave - I was knackered by the end of it! These horses don't have charge at you - nerves of steel required to hold your ground and keep clicking! :) Great fun!

Very very nice. Loads of action and colour. Must have been a good day.

I have an odd perception with No1 - it seems to be two dimensional. I've not experienced this with a photo before.

It can't be my eyes as all the others look fine.

Can anyone explain that?

Really like number 2, well composed and nicely isolated from the background.

Like all of them though, seems like a good day out!

^^ as in the Palace looks like a cardboard cut-out? :) It was very odd light - more than that I don't know. It's the only wide angle shot in the set - maybe that's it?

Yes but the horses do as well.

Could it be the wide angle but also the angle / lean of the camera?

It's like one of those optical illusions.

Reminds me of the scene from Cable Guy... "We must... fight to the death....or they will...kill us both.....BRRRRAAA BRRRRAAA BBRRRAAA!"

Picture #2 is just pure awesome!

looks like a really grand day out

love the colours and vibranycy, great fun

I think my favourite is no 6, would not want to be on the receiving end:lol:

I think it's because the OP has caught everything totally square on, so there's no depth reference for the eyes.

thanks everyone - what a difference listing this in the 'bump' thread made! Thanks Gary
