Lovely shots! What lens were you using just out of interest? Colours and IQ are superb!!
 
Sigma 120-400mm f4.5-5.6 DG OS HSM Lens, it arrived just before I went to the zoo, so haven't had much chance to play with it!

Very nice (y), heard may good reviews on that lens! Was that at Chester? I desperately need a trip to the zoo soon, haven't been for years!
 
Great profile shot on the Ape, nice and sharp.
Good eye contact on the Otter too (y)
Not too keen on the Processing on the lion though,
It has rather a strong blue tint to it.
Its easily corrected though with selective colour / warming filter adjustment
