List of Canon authorized dealers, anyone ?

No
I thought that Google would soon find me a list of Canon authorised dealers whose stock is official UK and with Canon warranty. In fact, I think I've found it before, but all I can find now is a page which takes me to a map of the UK with pointers to specific locations. That sort of thing is fine if you're looking for a dealer who is local to you, but no help at all if you're looking to purchase by mail order. I'm on the south coast, but I'll consider buying anywhere if they do mail order and they won't send me "grey" kit. I'd appreciate a link to an alphabetical list if any kind person knows where one can be found. Thanks.

Use camera price buster for UK dealers/stock.

My thanks to 'twist' and to 'Canon Bob' for their help. Camerapricebuster has been added to my saved urls as it will be helpful in looking around for the best deals, which, judging from the prices, I assume to be non-grey. I suspect that I might be going wrong with the Canon 'where to buy' since I don't seem to be able to get past the 'map' thing described in my original post. I can find local dealers like Curry's and Argos, and determine that there are next to no specialist camera dealers around me, which is why I'm looking at mail order. But I can't get 'where to buy' to produce a list of accredited Canon dealers irrespective of where they are located.

Lots of TP members across the country,........so perhaps say what town you are located and other folks might be able suggest either a chain branch or local independent somewhere in that locale???

As for that 'interactive' map, I agree, why can't it give more info than how it is configured.

FWIW if you have an issue confirming whether a shop is selling genuine UK stock maybe ask Canon???

As for mail-order, Park, Wex, LCE to think of some of the popular names.

As I mentioned in my opening post on this thread, I have been trying to re-find a list which I previously saw which I took to be of 'Official' Canon Dealers. I was disappointed with the "Where to buy" page on Canon's website which locates the dealer nearest to your postcode and shows it on a map. Well, in my view that sort of thing is fine for some things, (and is great on a satnav for finding petrol or a restaurant!) but a lot of us like to look for a good online deal, and it matters not which end of the country the dealer is located, so the map "thing" doesn't help.
Well, I've finally stumbled again across the list which I'd previously seen:
https://www.canon.co.uk/cashback/participating-cashback-retailers/
I don't know for sure whether it is 100% correct to assume that because the named dealers participate in the Canon Cashback Scheme that they are "official" dealers, or that the list includes all the "official" dealers, - but it seems logical to me to suppose that these are at least some of those that will be selling "Official imports" as opposed to "grey". That is what I was looking for, and now add this to my post in case it is of help to others.
