Little advice from Fuji X users

I am looking for a little advice. I currently use a Fuji X-t1 and X100s. I prefer using my x-t1 for most things so I was considering selling my X100s and buying a 27mm and possibly an xe-1 as a back up/second camera.

As much as I love the X100s I am beginning to get frustrated that it is fixed lens.

Has anyone used both the lens and the X100s, that can give me some advice.

27mm is more telephoto than the x100, 18mm f2 is wider

pick which you prefer

or the 23mm 1.4, a stop faster, but physically quite a bit larger

I wouldn't get the 27mm, I think you lose too much light with it being 2.8

I had the same here + the 23mm F1.4 an XE-2 so decided to just keep the 23mm F1.4 on the XE-2,and sell the X100s.
But its a lovely cameras the X100s,but I just couldn't justify keeping all the gear I had.

Love my X100s too, but rarely use it now.
I bought it to stay away from interchangeable lenses and the bind of carrying around large DSLR's, but now have an X-E2 and X-Pro1, and a couple of lenses.
They are so much lighter and easier to carry, I will probably sell the X100s.

I already have the 18mm and the 35mm. I am finding that i am using those on the X-T1 more than I use the X100s. The main reason i am considering the 27mm is that I find the 35mm too narrow for street photography, but often find the X100s too wide. I have a 40mm on my leica and really like this field of view. Tough decision, especially without any local shops to try the lens out.

If you look through the XE2 thread there are some comments and pics taken with the 27mm. I believe it's a very underated lens. I have had a few lens including the cheaper zooms 16-50 & 50-230mm on my XP & XT and I personally feel that Fuji don't make a bad lens. I even find the XT & XP jacket pocketable with the 35mm fitted.

Also, with the price of the 27mm, if bought secondhand, you are unlikely to loose much money if it's not suitable for you.
