Right the story is that a friend of mine has seen a web template that she likes the general look of so I downloaded it with a view to changing the way it looks to suit her thinking. It comes with a .CSS file, an HTML file and a .PSD file.

I can work with the HTML file no problem but what I have done is to change the .PSD file to get it to look like she wants but my problem is I dont know how to get that into an editable HTML file so that I can insert the hyperlinks etc.

Anyone with a bit of knowledge of this that can help?

Cheers

Take it into Image ready and slice it - IR will then produce html for you.

Dont think I have image ready? I have CS4 Master collection but cannot see Image Ready

Paul, my grasp of converting a .psd file into html extends to creating links using the slice tool and then 'Saving for Web and Devices', choosing your image formats and then saving as html. The most basic but pretty effective way of making html files in PS CS4.

Thanks for the info but I have managed to work out how to change the images in the .PSD file and then change the HTML and CSS file to get it to show as I want.

Little bit more involved but at least I can work with it.

Thanks for the replies
