Summer festivals are comming so every live band does some tryouts to start there new summer tour. Thursday Pigbag Army, a live Jukebox as they call themselves, started of there tour
I shot some portraits during the show.

Difficult subject which you handle well, but to get really great original shots is difficult/impossible as they can usually suffer, as here in 1&3, from the 'mic suck' syndrome. (mouth filled with microphone) Number two would have been cool if not for the missed focus (only the ears are sharp) No 4 is the best IMO, but monochrome is more than simply desaturated colour and this suffers as a result. With work, this shot could be very powerful.
 
On my blog www.clicksofconcerts.wordpress.com you will find more original pics. These here are some of the portraits. I don't like those mic's either but they can't do without (and headsets are even worse) for me the mic can be in front of the mouth if there is enough emotion to see. The second one is indeed a shame on me, it shouldn'd be in the selection, but i liked the expression. the mono is made in LR It might be worth to redo it.
