In an ideal world the gulls would fly upside down though:D
 
#2 is a cracker - nice sky and great angle
 
All good, but that sky makes No2 a bit special and the exposure is spot on. (y)

I can see a quantum leap in the quality of your shots Paul since you got the 40D - not that they were bad before. These are good sharp shots and there's not much wrong with the AF system to capture those flight shots. (y)

Thanks CT. I've definitely noticed that the AF is soooo much better on the 40D than the 20D. I'm missing a lot less shots. And it's got spot metering.
