loading images from a 20d to a pc

i`m having trouble getting pictures on my laptop from my 20d.its running vista and i`ve downloaded the drivers from canon but it still doesn`t want to play ball.i have now given up and i`m getting a card reader tomorrow.anyone else experienced this?

The 20D can connect to a pc using Vista if it is in PTP/Print mode.

i`ve tried that but it just say`s "busy"on the top canon screen and nothing happens.

problem solved...i use the card reader and uninstall all camera manufacturers software

64 bit by any chance? canon never developed a 64 bit vista/7 driver..

I think it's always better and quicker to use a card reader.
