Hi all i was wanting some opinion on this shot.

I took a few shots last week that i posted on here as i found i just wasn't doing something right.

Well i have had another go and here it is so C+C please.

good shot, think it may have too much blue overall but thats only my opinion.
 
Very nice shot. I like it! Live right next to a canal and they do look lovely, esp. when they're all frozen over
 
The quality of the shot looks much better than the ones you showed last week.

What changes did you make when shooting and have you applied any PP (and if so what) ?
 
Hi yes i made the changes to the metering and i also done the levels in elements.

Thanks i was hoping somebody from my other shots would look.
 
It's not bad. Your eye is led into the distance to the small tree. The subject is very central and things often look better with the subject on thirds.
exif says f8 . you might have got the foreground grass in focus as well at f11 or f16.
