Here's a few shots taken today at a local league footy match. Had a strange yellowy hot thing in the sky playing havoc with the shirts LOL. Kind regards Graham.

Good stuff, for once, I don't mind the backgrounds here. I oten find with the smaller games, the sporadic crowds and urban settings ruin the photos for me. These are cool,

Gary.

I agree with the above. Is that a couple of rowers in a river in No2? I'd clone them out like. Apart from that, good.(y)(y)

If you're bothered about what goes on in the background in these kind of images it shows that you're not concentrating on the subject.

Must of been suuny the keepers wearing a cap. :)

looks like the pitch was uneven from no 3.

Like all the shots with backgrounds fine as normally that can be annoying

Thanks for the comments people(y).

Gary, thank's!, as you say it's hard to find an undisrtacting background at these games. This pitch is elevated a little from the next (the "rowers" described by Brash are players in another match!!) and by getting low kept most of the people out of it.

Brash, Thank you for looking in!. As i've stated already the "rowers" are infact players in another footy match down a banking!.

tigerimages, Thank you.

latereg, cheers! I think that's what it was:thinking:, I havn't seen it round by me for a month or so:LOL:. The pitch is uneven, however, now you've pointed it out, my horizons are off in 2 & 3 (Kipax will have my guts for garters):(.

Kind regards Graham.

These are good - the focus is in the wrong place for the first one but otherwise you should be pleased with this lot. Keep it going.

I noticed something not quite right about it but it's not easy to get it spot on is it? BG I assume you were shooting with more than one focus point?

Hi, thank's for the input

Sideshow Alvie:,Thank you for your comments. I liked the expression on the face of the chaser which is why i picked the shot!. The next in series was this one:)

Tigerimages: Thank's again(y) I am still getting used to this awsome 300mm lens, & the focus pick up is sooo quick. As stated above the next frame was #5. I was shooting with only the central focus point on matrix metering. Kind regards Graham.
