Location inspiration wanted!

Morning all :)

I want to go out this evening and take some photos if the weather remains nice. The trouble is I live in Leicester and I'm stuck for location inspiration - so I was wondering if any of you could help!

I want to take some landscape photos, either involving water for some 10 stop action, or somewhere with really strong architectural interest - windmills, viaducts, lone trees on rocky ground, derelict buildings - you know - all the cliched stuff :lol:

Happy to drive about an hour and a half each way...

Any ideas? :help:
 
Peak district, Beacon Hill and Bradgate Park, Rutland water, Leamington Spa, Round Barrow on Soar is nice, Kirby Muxloe Castle, Belvoir Castle
 
You see, I'd thought about Stanford viaduct and may give that a go. Kirby castle looks good also, but it looks like it closes at 5 and I don't finish work until then. Will keep that in the bank for the future though :thumbs:
