North England locations in yorkshire ?

hi all
wanting to head out tomorrow with the wife and kids for a nice walk and take some pics on film and digital
wondering if anyone has any nice spots for wildlife and landscapes wildlife etc dont mind bit of travelling ?

You can get some cracking shots of the Hamilton Hills near Thirsk. North York moors is the common spot around here though.

Bolton Abbey has some good steady walks, Burnsall too. I always struggle with locations on the North Yorkshire moors, but Sutton Bank is a good spot with nice easy walks around.
Further south there's Bretton Sculpture Park.... Depends what you're after really.
