Have to go up to Glasgow in a week or so, hope to get finished about dinner time, then thinking of going up to find a b&b around Loch Lomond as I don't have to be back in Glasgow until the next evening, drove past many times, but never had any time to spend there, any recommendations on places to photograph as I always take my camera.

I was there a few weeks back, unfortunately the weather wasn't too great, low cloud and fine drizzle. It get's better the futher up you go, i think they class Luss as the start of the High Lands.

Done most of the top end, its just one of the few places in Scotland I've never had time to spend time in, always looked nice when I've drove by in the light, hope to get around the Loch as far as time permits..and hope for better weather

Not intended for C&C, I know they're not great shots but they were taken about 1.30hr apart. Unfortunately the blue sky didn't last too long.

If you've time (bit of a drive) try the East side - Google Inversnaid.

Luss, Balmaha, Drymen are all nice and relatively close, Tarbet too is just up the road. I'd get on the boat at Balloch (Sweeney's Cruises) and it sails you up the Loch. Balloch Park is nice to walk around and you get a good view of the Ben from the top of Drumkinnon Tower, plus it has an aquarium inside it so you can get some pictures of otters etc.

The weather is your only trouble, I live 10 minutes away from the Loch and was there on Sunday and the grey skies are a pain.
