I'm thinking of doing a shoot in London for a friends clothing line, I just need some help finding a high vantage point that kinda over looks the place if you get me? I know the London eye's there but it's got bars and everything across... Any idea's would be helpful...

P.S. We have pretty much no money, us ourselves and our cameras

Greenwich Park perhaps if you can use Canary Wharf behind instead of The City.

or get yourself down onto the beaches of The Thames at low tide, but take some Wellington boots as it can be a little mucky.

e.g. at Rotherhithe on Bermondsey Wall East

Florence and the Machine shot a video at Maggie Blake's Cause right by Tower Bridge, just off Shad Thames, last June

there are other places further west, such as at Coin Street

Alexandra Palace overlooks London, but is quite distant like Primrose Hill. If you want closer then you could try near to a place called Trinity Buoy Wharf, around there the river starts to bend and you can see other places to get right down by the river edge that will give different backgrounds. try to go at low tide so you get the best chance.
