I failed in my own Mission to get a non-toothy Japanes Female Tourist who was also a bit of a Babe - I had been hoping for a 'Kill-Bill' Stylee temptress in schoolgirl outfit, but I guess that's only in the Movies and in certain Tokyo nightclubs... ahem

Anyway here's a random selection: just links as I can't be bothered to resize them all three times tonight.

Looks like it was still a worthwhile day, especially like the violinist, and the solitary figure in the cafe.

(y)

chap in the cafe, great shot

Am I getting old or does guy in the first one look a wee bit young for that uniform?

He does look a little "baby faced" but saying that he probably stands 6'+ tall or something;)

One can only dream! two great shots, 1 and 3 are great, 2 and 4 are ok.

The lone cafe guy and violinist shots do it for me.

I thought you were being a little optimistic with the Japanese babe shot but I'm a little dissapointed you didn't capture any handbag touting teletubbies around Soho.

PS: How's the work noticeboard looking?

1,2 and 3 are absolute cracking shots. (y)

3rd shot does it for me.....& please please don't tell me those glasses in #4 are in fashion !!

Fantastic stuff, all of them. Well done.

Love the cafe shot! I'm very surprised you didn't achieve your mission ;)

I now have it good authority from a freind in the US that the violinist is 'someone', rather than just someone...
We're doing a bit more reasearch - could be one of the artists from the Opera as I know they occasionally busk around the market - some of the singers were doing a turn earlier on.

Considering the amount of people in Trafalgar Square for the anti-BNP rally, I'm disappointed that I didn't come away with better shots.
The cafe shot was also poached over Fingerz shoulder - I confess I didn't spot the potential there at first, but looking at it, it's the best one of the day.

Nice shot Jamey! Some careful processing there too. (y)

Nice shot, like the way you've brought out the grainy look in texture, almost like B&W with the tones so low(y)

The third one ticks all the boxes for me - cracking shot! (y)

fingerz, love your work. Can you tell me your workflow to get the look your pictures have.

I am inspired by your website.

Diego.

Like all of them - think the third just tips it in atmosphere though.

Although I like the contradiction of the sign and the crowd in the 2nd(y)

Does that first bloke think hes riding a bike or something;)
