Had two or three hours to play around in London so I thought I'd hit the landmarks. Bearing in mind these objects/places have been togged a million times I wanted to go for something different, stylised and perhaps even abstract. Hope you like. :bonk:

Before you say it, I am well aware they are processed to hell. That was my intention. ;)
 
#1 and 3 for me:)
how was #1 done ?
and is #3 HDR ?

Thanks chaps.

#1 was Lightroom colour balance and tint changes coupled with radial blur in PS to effectively get rid of some commuters at the bottom of the stairs.

#3 isn't HDR but is a more subtle technique in PS which I can't remember the name of, but includes creating a desaturated inverse overlay layer which is then blurred. Has the effect of giving pop to an image and can be throttled back using layer transparency.

I think you achieved your target or shotting the subjects differently :)
