A first for me so well happy, even if the foliage got in the way :(
It was a bit wet and dull as well :D

That's a belter!! That foliage is nothing to the stuff I had to shoot through when saw these. Incredible bird!

We had between 2 and five Long Eared Owls sitting up in dense trees most of the day on the side of the canal locally You could just make out blood on the beak of one from the nights hunt. Sadly - they've naffed off now - not been seen for a while., but they were pretty reliably there for a couple of weeks.

Well taken shot Ian (y) excellent

nice one ian..(y)

i have been trying to get near these owls we have a few that hunt along the sea front

cheers

ells

Thanks they are elusive its taken me 2 years to get a half decent shot of one.

A cracking shot Ian and, in my opinion, the slight blurring caused by the intervening foliage takes nothing away from it - well done :)

Lovely shot and as othjers have said the foliage takes nothing away from it.

If this is wild, nice one! The branches/leaves in the way make the image, you would be hard pressed to find a LEO without them!
