Long-eared owl

I'm teaching myself Photoshop so please move this elsewhere if it doesn't really belong here.

I used selective colouring and darkened the background as well as applying a Gaussian blur to fade it even more. There are a couple of bloopers on the branch where I was a little careless and didn't notice until after I'd mixed down and saved.

Is there anything else that might improve it?

Hi Steve, The only thing I can see wrong is the eyes are a little soft. Where abouts in Tameside are you from?

Thanks. Yes, they are a touch, but the full-sized image (clicky piccy) seems okay to me. I admit I didn't focus on the eyes properly (it was dancing at the time) so maybe that's it.
