Long Exposure

Hi i am wanting to do long exposure shots of the sea etc. What is the best route to go.

I have been told welding glass is good and cheap.

Will i need to buy a coking fitment to put it in.

Or shall i just buy the proper filters nd is that right??

Try out the welding glass, buy a cokin adaptor ring for the size lens you will be using and superglue it to the welding glass.
