Long lens landscapes

Taken from the top of Hartshead Pike last weekend the nice light landed in the distance so unclipped the wide angle and stuck on the long zoom towards it

Telephoto lenses can as you demonstrate add greatly to landscape shots, very good.

Most of my landscapes are taken with a 70-200mm, it's used more that any other lens.
I like the extra reach a zoom gives resulting in a more intimate picture rather than the wider view.

Yeah Tamron 70-300VC lens. Looks cloer from Ridge hill doesn't it!

Some good ones here - I find with landscapes that the most interesting part is usually in the distance so end up using my 70-200mm for many of them.
