Longer term overseas Insurance

I wasn't going to take my DLSR gear with me, but am now considering it, so need to get some insurance cover.

We will be travelling to Malaysia, Thailand and maybe Laos for 3 months from January 2011. The total value of the gear I am considering taking is about £4000.

I would be grateful for some recommendations.

Does anyone have any experience of AUA Insurance?

Their annual 'Gold Policy' covers you for up to 90 days in any one trip overseas and the excess is only £50 for any one claim. The premuim would be £157.50 covering £4000 of equipment.
