Hi al lI got a nice red snapper ballhead on top of my tripod.
At the moment when I go to take pictures its strapped to the side of my rucksack and so far its been getting quite a lot of abuse from the weather. I have walked the Carneddau in the rain and along the beach in a gale with sand and salty water splashing all over.
I am sure that it will be out a lot in the winter too.
Is there anything I should be doing to clean / lubricate / protect the tripod head?
Does it need greasing ever? If so what kind of grease ?
the legs a carbon so should be fine with the exposure
