Is this a good buy for 20 quid?

Is it worth paying the extra amount for one of those Sandisk extreme cards? What is the real difference between one of these and the extremes?

I'll be using it with my Sony A700. Relatively normal usage normally but I do sometimes like to use 5fps sometimes. Would this be good enough or would it take like 3 images and slow down?

It could well be alright. But as neil_g pointed out eBay is notorious for fake cards.
Go with Amazon or 7dayshop or similar and you'll get the real thing. It may cost a little more but at least you get what you pay for.

cheers

I hav just got some from 7dayshop good price and quick delivery.

Heard of so many fakes on Ebay - I'd steer clear... It may work - but it may not be the spec of the genuine card - and may have a higher failure rate...

I agree with all the other posts about fakes on ebay, best to leave them alone. Amazon are genuine copies and worth the little bit extra, I havent used 7 day shop but they are recommended too.

I'd buy 2 x 8GB rather than 1 x 16GB just incase of card fail. I always use kingston elite cards and have never had any problems but it's usually a case of "when" and not "if" whichever brand you use!!

I've used mainly Sandisk from Amazon - and haven't had a failure yet... And they get used quite frequently...
