Looking for a Canon Lens..

I've been looking to buy a Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 MKI & I was wondering if they're actually available to purchase brand new anywhere these days? I'd rather purchase new than second hand I think & the MKII's just not within my budget. If anyone has any suggestions as to looking for a place to purchase new I'll be thankful!

I have one that's as good as new see here and only asking £860 collected or £12 rmsd

May I ask what made you purchase & then decide to sell so soon after? Did you have any problems with the lens? Thanks for your reply.

Have u considered the Tamron 24-70 2.8 VC USD? I tried both side by side canon mk1 and the Tamron and the Tammy was superior when it came to the CA.

I sold my canon 7d so my 17-55 was an EFS lens and would not fit my 5D,so i needed something short to put on my 5dIII to use and at the time someone wanted a 17-55.


Absolutely nothing wrong with the lens.
