Looking For A New Camera Bag Big Enough to Carry a 100-300 Zoom Lens

I am sorry if this type of question has been posed a thousand times but I have just become the proud owner of a Sigma 100-300 F4 lens which will not fit the current camera bag I have so I need to buy a new one.

I don't have a massive amount of kit, Nikon D90 with 18-50 & 50-200 kit lenses, sb400 flash, the new lens with hood & 1.4 teleconverter so other than the size of the new lens a bag with masses of storage has not been a requirement.

In the near future I am likely to sell the two kit lenses with my old D60 & replace them with either an 18-105 VR lens or a 16-85 so will actually have less kit in terms of number of lenses to carry round although I am looking to get a tripod which I will need to transport.

Carrying a laptop is not a necessity although it would be nice if there was a compartment for carrying round a drink.

Does anyone have a similar setup that uses a bag currently they can recommend. I was initially looking at a Kata (DR 465) but am not convinced that will be big enough for the lens.

Depends on what you are looking to spend?

I went from a Lowepro 200 AW to the 400 Rover AW I think it was called,but never really got on with the latter as I preferred the flipside design of the 200 rather than the rucksack type of the 400.

I've now got the ThinkTank AIrport Acceleration V2,which is also a flipside kind of design and so far holds everything I have easily,and it has a laptop case built in too.

But as I said,it depends on what you're looking to spend as it's not cheap by any means...

Thanks for the reply James & of course I really should have mentioned the kind of money I am looking to spend.

Unfortunately I can't really go above £100 but would be quite happy to go second hand as long as condition ok and I am confident it will do the job
