Looking for good web hosting

Im looking to build a new website so looking for a good host. My last site was hosted by Lycos and they started off good but went down hill.

Need around 1gb of space and good bandwidth.

who do you recommend ?

Lycos collapsed just after Christmas, treated their customers to that information four days before closing access to my domains.

I had 12 domains with them at the time ... heck of a week for me ...panic mostly!!

I use 1and1. The hosting has been bullitt proof for years. Fair price and reliability - that's all you need really.

try hostgator.com been using them for years and they have telephone support included 24x7

at the moment ive been looking at streamline and 1and1.

Anyone used streamline before

Earlier recomended someone but can no longer do this. However now using www.clikpic.com and I'm very impressed.
