North England Looking for manchester shooting locations

Hi guys this i my first post in this forum. I am looking for good places to shoot round manchester. wanting to shoot good land/cityscapes and aslo looking for locations to do urban portrait shoots too. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Auburn Street is good for that rustic urban (run down!) look. There's also cool grafitti at Withington Pumping Station.

It's hard to advise as it really depends on what look / area you're after - run down, arty, posh etc etc... Do you know Manchester at all? Are you just after a general description of the various parts of the city?
